The concept behind this valve is you would exert a force on one side of the valve, and get a pressure proportional to that force out of the output. This would allow a force multiplication when used with a pneumatic cylinder with no electronic parts. The ultimate idea was to create an entire exoskeleton suit with dynamic controls with no computers.

I made a testbed to track force data. Friction was high, but I think it showed a lot of promise.

This is the data collected. Blue is input force, red is output force. Once the friction was overcome, the force in the valve tracked and multiplied the input force.
